Hi, I’m Sophie
I’m an alumna from the University of North Georgia, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design. I’m also passionate about photography—capturing meaningful moments, whether it’s a stunning landscape, a candid smile, or even what’s on my plate, brings me joy and creative fulfillment.
Growing up, my relationship with my cultural identity was complex. As a child, I often wished I looked like those around me and struggled to embrace my Indian heritage. Despite cherishing moments at home dressed in sarees and dancing to Bollywood music, I felt out of place in a world that didn’t mirror my experiences.
Today, my heritage is an essential part of who I am. I’ve learned to celebrate my culture and infuse it into my life and art. My work often reflects the vibrancy and richness of my background, showcasing the beauty of Indian traditions. Whether it’s through graphic design, photography, or personal expression, I take pride in sharing my culture with the world.
I believe creativity thrives when it’s rooted in authenticity, and my journey has shaped the artist and individual I am today.
